Google Creative Lead, Agency in Toronto, Ontario

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 7 years of experience as a copywriter, art director, or similar within advertising, design, marketing, a creative production agency, or equivalent

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Fine Arts, Advertising, or equivalent training/experience

  • Portfolio of creative work with emphasis on digital advertising/video, demonstrating campaigns/programs for brands across a variety of industries

  • Experience with related software tools and suites (e.g., Adobe PhotoShop, Final Cut Pro, Docs, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Google tools and platforms

  • Familiarity with YouTube advertising formats

  • Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills

In this role, you will bring passion for melding creativity with technology to help our partners create the best ads and content for their campaigns and marketing programs with Google. You will help develop, consult, guide, and present creative marketing concepts, focused on YouTube and Google platforms and technologies.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Create and develop ideas that take advantage of the creative canvas that YouTube and Google can offer, from video and ads to content and technology. Apply YouTube formats and Google technologies to bring a creative concept to its fullest potential on our platforms.

  • Develop and present compelling and strategically sound work to brands and agencies. Work with internal local and regional Sales teams to help generate game-changing ideas for clients.

  • Collaborate with external creative and media agency partners to develop powerful consumer engagements.

  • Foster innovation and invention through experimentation with our tools and formats.

  • Expose our Sales and agency teams to the latest and emerging advertising executions.
